About SoraStats

SoraStats is an independent archive and analytics site for the public history of the Sora creator ecosystem. It began as a way to make rankings, creator profiles, video statistics, and growth signals easier to understand. After the original Sora experience closed, the same data became part of a historical record that would otherwise be difficult to browse.
Milestones
- **October 3, 2025:** SoraStats launched to make Sora creator rankings easier to browse and compare.
- **October 15, 2025:** SoraStats entered its biggest phase, expanding into creators, videos, side characters, screeners, and growth data.
- **April 26, 2026:** The original Sora experience shut down. SoraStats preserved the public creator and video records it could so that the history would not simply disappear.
- **Today:** We focus on keeping that record useful, searchable, and understandable. Max subscriptions help support the cost of maintaining the archive.
Why It Exists
Sora had a short but important creator moment. A video file alone does not explain who made it, how audiences responded, which ideas were remixed, or why a creator mattered to the community. SoraStats keeps those relationships readable through public data and editorial guides.
What We Preserve
The public product organizes:
- archived Sora videos and their available captions;
- creator profiles and public portfolio history;
- views, likes, remix counts, and other historical engagement signals;
- rankings that let readers compare different forms of reach and influence;
- editorial guides about the shutdown, preservation, and the AI-video market.
SoraStats does not claim ownership of creators' work. The underlying videos and creator material remain subject to the rights of their original creators. Our contribution is the organization, statistical context, discovery experience, and historical analysis around that public record.
How to Read Our Data
Rankings are descriptive snapshots, not endorsements and not a universal definition of creative quality. Views indicate reach. Likes indicate one form of audience response. Remix counts can indicate reuse or influence. These measures answer different questions, which is why SoraStats presents them separately instead of combining them into a single claim about which work is "best."
Public records can also be incomplete. Counts may reflect the last available observation, private or deleted material may be absent, and some creator information may have changed after collection stopped. We label the archive as independent and avoid presenting it as a live official source.
Editorial and Correction Policy
Our original guides are written to help readers understand the archive, preserve their own work, and interpret changes in the AI-video ecosystem. We distinguish public facts from SoraStats analysis, link to primary sources when they are available, and update material errors when they are reported.
If a creator believes a profile, attribution, caption, or statistic is materially incorrect, they can use the contact page to request a review. Legal and privacy requests are handled through the same official support channel.
Independence
SoraStats is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. It is a separate archive and analytics product. Creators should keep their own official exports, source files, prompts, captions, and local backups; this site preserves public context but cannot replace those private originals.
